Meet Augusta Native Michael Cioffi
This community has given so much to me, and in turn, I want to serve the citizens that make this community such a wonderful place to live.
I have proudly called South Richmond County home for the past 32 years, where my wife Shannon and I, married since 1993, have raised two children, both graduates of Cross Creek High School.
I am a graduate of Augusta University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Professionally, I have spent 38 years with Belair Building Supply, where I serve as General Manager and bring decades of small-business experience in growth, management, and sustainability. That experience, along with my service as vice chairman of the Augusta Aviation Commission, has shaped my commitment to fiscal responsibility, accountability, and thoughtful leadership.
A vote for Cioffi is a vote for transparency, collaboration, and effective leadership.
I am running for County Commission because I believe this role is about public service, not building a career in politics. Effective leadership starts with showing up, being accessible to residents, and building strong, collaborative relationships across our community.
I am committed to supporting controlled, responsible spending while ensuring our local government continues to deliver the essential services our residents depend on. Above all, I will lead with transparency and clear communication, so District 8 residents always know their voices are heard.
